Sheehy Statement on President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy issued the following statement after President Donald J. Trump’s joint address to Congress:

“Tonight, Congress and the American people heard directly from President Trump about how his administration has hit the ground running to secure our borders, unleash American energy, lower costs, rebuild our military, and root out waste, fraud, and abuse in our sprawling federal bureaucracy. Democrats refused to celebrate America’s wins or even stand to honor a 13-year-old battling cancer. Despite their disappointing behavior, Republicans are delivering results – and we’re just getting started. It was an honor to attend the joint address, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside President Trump to bring back prosperity and restore common sense for the American people.”
