Sheehy Statement on Illegal Border Crossings Hitting New Record Low

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (R – Mont.) issued the following statement after illegal border crossings hit a stunning new low in March: 

“Americans voted for safe streets and a secure border, and that is exactly what they are getting with President Trump back in the White House. The violent, illegal alien thugs who Joe Biden let invade our country and terrorize our communities for four years have been put on notice, and I will continue to fight alongside the Trump Administration to ensure criminals and gang members find no safe haven in the United States.”

According to a New York Post report, illegal crossings at the US-Mexico border hit another record low in March, down 94% from the 137,000 people who poured across the border in March last year. This follows February crossings of roughly 8,300 illegal migrants — the lowest in at least 25 years.
